My Honours BAT focused largely on the molecular side of how most multicellular organisms function. This included remembering and reiterating the entire Krebs cycle to a professor on tests because “they had to as well”. While I can’t say I enjoyed the intensity of learning, I grew an appreciation for how our cells are efficient down to the molecular level. Understanding pet metabolism is beneficial in how you choose to feed them.

I’ve applied my understanding of molecular biology to Mr. Crowley’s diet and it has worked wonders for his overall health. Through articles I try to explain how individual food items and their molecules affect your pet’s cell function, and which supplements are really beneficial. I also include links to several online sources that I find useful, so if you are interested in learning more there are always books available in my articles.
